Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ledgerline (“Ledgerline,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use ledgerline.work and its contract-to-billing review service.

Information we handle

We handle account information supplied through sign-in, including your email address and account identifier; the contract PDF and billing CSV you upload; review names, results, and source excerpts; and limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, store and run your review, show results in your private account, prevent abuse, support the service, and comply with law. We do not sell uploaded documents or personal information.

Service providers and AI processing

Ledgerline uses Firebase for authentication, Google Cloud for application hosting, storage, and job processing, Neon for application data, and Anthropic’s API to extract relevant contract terms from text. The AI provider is used for extraction only; Ledgerline’s calculations are performed by application code. Your contract text is sent to that provider to perform the requested extraction.

Retention and deletion

Your uploaded files, review records, and results are retained while the review remains in your account. Deleting a review deletes its associated Ledgerline database records and cloud-storage objects. Account deletion requests may be sent to support@ledgerline.work. We may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Third-party providers may retain data under their own terms; Anthropic’s standard API retention is generally up to 30 days.

Security

We use account-based access controls, private storage paths, signed upload URLs, and provider security controls designed to protect uploaded data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not upload documents unless you are authorized to share them.

Your choices and requests

You may access your reviews in your account and delete individual reviews. To request access, correction, or deletion of account information, contact us at support@ledgerline.work. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

Children

Ledgerline is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
